Open Hooky, go to the Profile tab and tap Settings.
Tap Delete my account. The screen lists what will be removed.
Tap Delete my account again to confirm. The account is removed straight away.
If you no longer have the app
Write to pekgoz25gursel@gmail.com from the address you can
be reached at, and say which store account you used (Apple or Google). We will
delete the record and confirm.
What gets deleted
The hashed identifier that represents your account.
Your credit balance and your monthly quota usage. Unused credits are
lost and cannot be restored.
Your Pro status on our side. Deleting your Hooky account does not
cancel a store subscription — cancel that in your Apple or Google account
settings, or you will keep being charged.
What we keep, and for how long
Two things survive deletion, and both exist for one reason: your account
identifier is derived from your Apple/Google account, so deleting and signing up
again returns the same identity. Without these, that loop would hand out
free credits without end.
If you had spun the free credit wheel, the date of that spin,
kept until your next spin would have been due (30 days). It becomes meaningless
the moment it expires.
A single yes/no flag recording that the one-time welcome
credit has already been given. This one is kept indefinitely — "once" only means
anything if it is remembered.
Neither holds any information about you: not a name, not an address, not
anything you did in the app. They are attached to the same hashed identifier and
nothing else.
What we never had
Your videos are deleted as soon as an analysis finishes, so there is nothing
of yours left in storage to delete. We never stored your email address, your
name, or your Apple/Google user identifier — see the
privacy policy.
